This was a good series to watch, too bad one team had to lose.

Only 3 GB's predicted this series correctly (dakine, mopey and jetsfan6, why didn't you pick any other series since you were undefeated???). 6 GB's got it wrong (PaulBacon, TDice, C.S., SAITDegree, Zimcity and scoutmaster).

The dreaded 2 goal lead did in the Hawks. As Martinez said postgame, the Kings are like cockroaches, they just don't go away easily. They beat the Hawks both physically and on the scoreboard. Like I mentioned, both goalies were shaky throughout the series. Then again, you can't stop what you can't see and there were many bad bounces and deflections.

Congrats to the LA Kings, the most resilient team in sports that I've ever seen! Good luck against the Rangers!

The Kings have been just solid in the playoffs. They win, they lose and they win. I think this series was really the cup finals. Two great teams going back and forth and finally the Kings wining in OT. Taffoli deflected Martinez's shot and it clipped the Hawks' player in front of the keeper. On to Staples now vs. the Rangers.

I have no idea whether the Kings have it to win game 7, but they will leave it all on the ice tonight.

"Wow, what a series! Neither goalie is on their game with all of the offensive firepower of these 2 teams."

regarding the goalies being on their game, I don't think thats necessarily true... I think both goalies are doing quite well...

Of course I do thing Defense for both teams has a lot to do with "good goalies" and a little lucky puck bounces... :-)

It's too bad this isn't for the Cup, 'cause this series has been a classic!

I didn't get to watch it as I was at a grad party for my nephew. I heard the score and will watch it later since I recorded it. Game 7 tomorrow.

Clutch win for the Hawks in game 5. Towes has been money all playoffs, just like in the Olympics too, my first pick for captain anytime. Game 6 tonight, going to chill out and watch da game. I would like to see a game 7, to tie me over for the start of the SCF next Wednesday.

Great game by both sides... Was hoping the Hawks would break it open with the early 2 goals, but L.A. showed they would have no blowouts at their expense...

California dreaming of One more Hawks win to stay alive... for Ultimate Game 7.

GO HAWKS!!!

That was an exciting game. I was hoping to watch some OT. Now it's back to Staples where the Kings will try to close it out.

Michal Handzus; not exactly a household name, is it? But, whatever it takes for the Hawks to stay alive.

Not exactly stellar defense by either team, although both goalies made great saves in the first OT.

Depends on whether the Hawks can get their legs back. If LA gets the first 3 goals, or 3 in the first period, put the Cup in the U-Haul!

The Kings win Game 3! Jeff Carter nets a goal and 2 assists in LA's 4-3 win. Kings take a 2-1 series lead

Another flip-a-coin series, either team I would be happen with representing the West. Although I have the Hawks representing the West back at the Olympic break, so with that said...

Hawks in 7

This one concerns me. The Kings are like Jason; very hard to kill. Quick has been clutch, but so has Crawford. Edge goes to the Hawks' depth.

Hawks in 7.
